Weber Basin Water Conservancy District is seeking an experienced and visionary General Manager/Chief Executive Officer to lead one of the largest water authorities in the state.The General Manager/CEO serves as the District’s chief executive, with responsibility for directing its executive and administrative functions, and overseeing the District’s operations, finances, and strategic priorities. As the leader of a major water authority, the General Manager/CEO also serves as a statewide leader and spokesperson on water strategy, policy, and resource management.We are looking for a collaborative, strategic leader with the experience, integrity, and communication skills to guide a complex public water organization and help shape the future of water in the state. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related applicable field, preferred, along with fifteen years of progressively responsible experience in the water industry or related field. Candidates should have a demonstrated record of effective management and at least ten years of supervisory experience with a proven ability to build high-performing teams, foster collaboration, and provide strong, results-oriented leadership.The expected starting salary range for the General Manager/CEO position is $183,000 - $240,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
